London Bridge Rail

GXR A12, f2.5, 1/30, ISO 1250, RAW, 28mm

People always say it's not good to place the main point of interest in the middle of the picture but I think it's not such a bad thing and can work well at times if the rest of the composition goes along with this.

  1. I agree. This shot works really well. I meant to ask before. How are you getting on with the EEE pad transformer for transferring and editing your photos?

  2. Thanks for your comments!

I do like how the GXR renders colours, it is very good and natural.

James, I love the Transformer and think it's the best device right now for travel. It it the only device out there that can replace a tablet and netbook and if someone ports RAW Therapee over it will replace my Notebook even for most of my tasks.
I am also waiting for Snapseed to be released on Android or for Adobe to finally lift that silly 1600x1600 restriction when saving pictures in Photoshop Touch.

Once I find some time I will write my (as usual) delayed review on it but suffice to say that with Ice Cream Sandwich now available for the Transformer, it got even better.

  3. Rules are meant to be broken.

The central position of the figure works because you have those lines on the platform leading the eye into the subject.

    A lovely shot.
