GXR A12-M, f1.2, 1/143, ISO 200, RAW, 53mm (Voigtlander Nokton f1.2 35mm)

The great thing about using legacy lenses and M lenses in particular is that each has a different look and characteristic, the Nokton lensess for example render reds completely different while the GR lens does this with greens and blues.

  1. Those certainly are rich and vibrant reds, Cristi.

It is a joy to see what you are producing with the GXR A12 M-mount and your legacy lenses. They certainly make the GXR a tempting prospect. I will resist until the EVF is incorporated into the body. I think it is only a matter of time, given what Fuji, Sony and Nikon have introduced.

  2. Thanks for the comment calvin!

The GXR A12-M is fantastic and the good thing is even if you et it now, you can simply upgrade the body later on while keeping the module.

  3. I like the way the guy is mosttly in complete shadow... his had and face enough to fill in the blanks.

Nice colours on this. Red looks great and bold without the risk of over saturation.

  4. Thanks for your comment Bill!

The reds are very strong, this is why in my 'Buying Books' post I lowered the saturation but here I felt it worked just fine.
