Nightfall in Hanoi

After a long flight with a stopover in HK and a quick meet with Ricoh , I arrived in Hanoi.

There was no much time other than to go for a quick walk in the evening and take some photos. While I ended up deleting a lot of them, these 5 I liked best.
All taken with the GXR Mount A12 and the Voiglander Nokton lens.

  1. Great set Cristian, but my favorite has to be the one of the couple at the lake. The shoes tell the story of them dangling their feet in the water.

Vietnam was one of my favorite destinations so I'm looking forward to more of your photos.

  2. Great little set. The B&Ws are dark and strong, and suited to the back street scenes. The colour shots are just lovely. I love markets for photography... its one of those places where you can't fail to get something great.

I agree with Bjorn regarding the lake scene. Timeless image of love.

  4. Thanks for your comments!

Bjoern, so far I really like Vietnam despite the floods and rain I have experienced.

Bill, you are right about markets but after a long flight it was not easy to capture interesting pictures, especially with a manual focus lens.
